The most attractive parts of the lake are accessible only by boat; they are on islands or they are small crescents of white sand in secluded coves at the foot of rock bluffs.
Why rent a houseboat?
Because with a houseboat, you cruise the lake, nudge the boat up against the shore, tie off and declare some stretch of beach yours for the day and night. Then the next day, you go find another one. That's why. The idea is to kick back on the houseboat, play in the water and on the beach and generally enjoy the experience of doing something different. |
