Located on the north shore of 5500 acre Lake Puckaway The Good Old Days Resort boasts 14 clean, modern, air conditioned units all on or very near the lake. Brian and Sandi Day are now in their 23rd year of business and are constantly remodeling and renovating units and property. A new heated pool was added two years ago, a two mile nature trail was added last year that winds through the 47 acre birch woods on the property. All units have ceramic tile floors, many interior walls have been redone in varnished knotty pine, giving guests that up-north feeling.
An excellent restaurant featuing evening specials, an expansive deck overlooking the lake, and a well stocked tavern is located on the property. |

Lake Owen, 9 miles long, provides great boating, water skiing, fishing, canoeing, or kayaking or just plain relaxing on the pontoon. A large part of the lake is owned by Chequamegon National Forest giving Lake Owen a more private quiet appearance. The crystal-clear water is great for swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and exploring.
At Lake Owen Resort we have a beautiful sandy beach, swimming raft, paddle boat, and docking facilities. Some of the best fishing is right from our own docks! Enjoy golfing on many nearby courses.

Lake Wissota State Park is less than 2 miles away to go hiking, to the beach or cross county skiing in the winter. Speaking of winter, we're only a couple blocks from the state snowmobile trail.
