| The Jefferson Inn is a 1896 Victorian located near one of the most popular outdoor attractions in New England, the pinnacle of the White Mountains, Mount Washington. Expansive mountain views and spectacular sunsets may be seen from the wraparound porch. Superb hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling & sightseeing is available directly from the door. The Inn is adjacent to a spring-fed swimming pond with a floating dock, an outdoor ice skating rink with warming hut. Woodward's was started in 1956 with six cottages and has grown over the years into the full facility resort we have today. The resort is still owned and operated by the Woodward family. Our resort is known for customer service, well-appointed rooms, spacious landscaped grounds and excellent food. You can depend on the Woodward family and staff for a warm welcome and superb facilities.
Woodward's Resort features 85 rooms with 7 two bedroom units sleeping up to six people. We have a full service restaurant serving breakfast and dinner daily. Our lounge overlooks the duck and trout pond which in the winter becomes our lighted skating pond. The stone fireplace in our lounge will warm you after a day of skiing. |
