888-823-4012 |
The Robert Morris Inn, dating back to 1710 is one of the oldest historic inns in the United States. Robert Morris, Jr. helped finance the Revolutionary War, numbered George Washington among his friends, and was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution. The Main Inn and Lodge are situated next to the Tred Avon River (off the Chesapeake Bay) in the colonial village of Oxford, Maryland. We are only 6 miles from St. Michaels, 10 miles from Easton and Cambridge, and 20 miles from Tilghman Island.
Owned and operated for over thirty years by the Gibson Family, the Inn's hallmarks are simple comfort, quiet hospitality and delicious food, especially our Chesapeake Bay crab cakes and seafood. |
