Opened Sept. 13, 2003 as a Bed & Breakfast, the Spann House has undergone an extensive two and a half year renovation and restoration and today looks very much like it did just after it was built. The B&B features four large second-floor rooms each with fireplaces with ventless gas logs for winter's chill and air conditioners and ceiling fans for summer's heat.
Although The Spann House was at its inception, a place of elegance and luxury, today it is a peaceful place in a quiet town where you can relax and enjoy southern comfort and southern hospitality. The house features 11-foot ceilings, complete with picture rails and chair rails throughout the majority of the dwelling. Most furnishings are period pieces from just before or just after the turn of the century. |
