Let your imagination transform the present to a gentler time past; relax, refresh, and renew both body and soul at the Captain's, a magnificent manse built in the late 1870's by John Wickham, the owner of the local lumberyard and master shipbuilder of the day. The property has won numerous beautification and garden awards over the past years.
Remember that this area is the largest tourist area in the state of Ohio, so there is a plethora of things to do and see. Huron and Captain Montague's is most certainly the heart of vacationland, but when you're here, you'll find you are far enough away from the hubbub to find relaxation, comfort and good company. |
